The Hackpen White Horse C.B (Country) DX and Social club was established in November of 1985 as a CB DX radio club, and at the AGM on the 9th November 2002, the members agreed that the club name should be changed to "The Hackpen White Horse Radio And Social Club", this was subsequently changed to "The Hackpen White Horse Radio Club" due to VAT & Tax reasons.
In November of 1986 the club has it's first AGM with a proper committee formed I.E Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary and a working committee, and then transformed into a social club with the emphasis still relating to CB Radio.

The club meetings are held at Broad Hinton Village Hall, just
off of the A4361 between Swindon and Avebury, using the turning nearest to
Swindon is the easier way to get to the hall.
